Comfort - I don't know where to send this, but SOMEONE needs
I don't know where to send this, but SOMEONE needs to know what has happened on our stay. We stayed at comfort inn on Cornell road in Hillsboro, Oregon two nights July 17,18,19 to watch the Hillsboro Airshow from the pool. In fact, we do this every single year. I was standing in the lobby on Friday evening, getting some water, and employee named "Debbie" was yelling at Airshow patrons to get out, and NO they cannot use the bathroom, yelling that people pay money for the rooms and they get to use the bathrooms--not Airshow people. She was screaming at the top of her lungs. I was frightened, so I just returned to the pool area. She was clearly OUT OF CONTROL. From that point forward, "Debbie's" attitude the entire weekend was SUPER RUDE. HORRIBLE AT BEST. I went up to ask a question and she acted all irritated answering it. I followed up by asking "do you like working here?? It must be fun meeting people from all over..." She quickly replied "um, no, actually I HATE IT HERE, I HATE PEOPLE, PEOPLE ARE SO RUDE, and this job SUCKS. I especially hate it when it's busy like this." I was SHOCKED that she would reply that way, to a paying customer. I replied back to her "wow, your attitude is HORRIBLE". From then on, we avoided her. We had one room, and it was me, my husband, and three kids. We tried to steer clear of her, she was NOT NICE. We told the kids to stay away from her because she was so temperamental and yelled at people. When we were out by the pool, we noticed some old friends were staying there too. So we talked, and let the kids swim together. These people we hadn't seen in years had two dogs with them. Both dogs were legal medical/therapy dogs for two of the people there. (Not our dogs) And it's my understanding that if they're licensed as medical/ therapy dogs, they can legally go wherever their owner is. So, they had their two small dogs laying by them, under the table in the pool area. Neither dog ever moved, until they took them outside for potty breaks. "Debbie" came out to the pool screaming at me and saying that "these dogs are not allowed by the pool, and can't we read the signs..." I was like "um lady, these are not my dogs, why are you yelling at me?." Our friend said "they are both medical/therapy licensed dogs, and they can go wherever we go" Debbie kept yelling and insisting that we leave. So, our friends with the dogs left, and we left as well. She absolutely RUINED our whole weekend. I am a choice privilege member and stay at this hotel every year!! On our way out the door "Debbie" says "good ridden, and thanks a bunch for FOLLOWING THE RULES", sarcastically. I told her again, THOSE DOGS ARE NOT MY DOGS!!!!!! I told her I would be calling corporate to report her. She said "that's fine, I don't even care" So, you can see, our stay at this hotel was the worst I've ever had. Susan, the other front desk lady was SUPER. But she was only there in the morning. Call me if you have any questions. Please make sure this email gets to the correct person to handle this situation.
